If you’re a football fan, you’ve probably heard of NFL official betting. But what exactly does this mean? What do NFL official betting partners get? How much money will they pay the NFL? That’s a question for the league to answer, but they’ve already announced three deals with sportsbooks. In return, they’ll receive official league data and be able to promote their relationship with the league and tie their brands to their statistics. If the five-year deal works out, the NFL will get almost $1 billion from these deals. The NFL can opt out of the deal after three years.
After the Supreme Court ruled that the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act no longer applies to sports gambling, the PGA TOUR has instituted a robust integrity program and licensed live scoring data through Genius Sports. The PGA TOUR is also a platinum member of the National Council on Problem Gambling and aligned with the American Gaming Association and Have A Game Plan. The new partnership with betPARX enables the sports betting company to offer branded fan experiences and video highlights that fans will love.
DraftKings will also be the official betting partner of MLB and NBA in the upcoming postseason. The new partnership will also give the company on-site brand exposure at MLB Jewel Events. The company will also debut a 2021 T-Mobile Home Run Derby, featuring an on-field “Hit It Here” trigger and World Series tickets for the winners. As part of its sponsorship, DraftKings will also host two free-to-play pools around the Home Run Derby. Each pool will include $50K in prize money.
