There are a number of different sports leagues across the country, but the NFL is the latest to sign an official betting deal. The NFL recently announced that three sportsbooks would be its official betting partners. This deal would give these companies access to official league data and marketing opportunities. The deals also allow these companies to tie their brands to team statistics. The deal is worth nearly $1 billion if it continues for five years, but the NFL can opt out after three years.

The organization is also a platinum member of the National Council on Problem Gambling and aligns itself with the Have A Game Plan campaign. It is not illegal to bet on sports in New York, but it isn’t legal everywhere.
