The PGA TOUR has announced a three-year deal with bet365 as its official betting operator. The new partnership is a first for the series. The company, based in Stoke-on-Trent, UK, will become the exclusive source for betting odds on leaderboards and player pages. In addition, it will provide exclusive odds for TOURCast, which is a 3D rendering of every shot. The deal will also give fans across regulated states a unique live experience.
NFL owners have also signed deals with betting operators to integrate gambling content into its broadcasts. In April, the league announced that it will generate $270 million in revenue this year through official betting. Other sportsbooks may also sign official betting data deals with NFL teams. This will make betting data available to fans before and during games.
Other sports leagues, including the NBA, NHL, and Australian Football League, have partnered with gaming companies for official betting. Crownbet, for example, became the official wagering partner of the Australian Football League last year. Meanwhile, nine of 20 English Premier League teams signed deals with gaming companies last year. In Arizona, sports betting is legal and is regulated by the Arizona Department of Gaming. Arizona sports teams, however, do not have official betting sites.
Currently, there are 18 sportsbooks operating in Arizona. Several more are in the pipeline. The state’s licensing program is stricter than most states. Licensed sportsbooks can only operate in Arizona, but some may offer mobile apps.
