The official betting line, or money line, for a football game is the number of points that a team must win to cover the spread. Unlike the point spread, which is an estimate of the expected winning margin, the money line is based on the total number of points scored in a game and is subject to change throughout the day.

The National Hockey League (NHL) has not publicly stated a position on legal sports betting, and its players have signed sponsorship deals with bookmakers including William Hill. However, the NHL’s expansion Vegas Golden Knights have a home arena in Nevada, and players are allowed to place wagers at licensed sportsbooks.

Individuals who are associated with clubs at the lowest level of the men’s or women’s league systems, as well as match officials at FA Level 4 or below, are banned from placing bets on football matches that they participate in or influence. In addition, they are prohibited from soliciting, offering, accepting or receiving a bribe to fix a match or event within a match.

For horse races, bettors can make multiple wagers per race. An “exacta” involves picking the first two finishers in correct order; a “quinella” picks the first three finishers in any order; a “trifecta box” combines the three into one bet; and a “Pick Six” requires choosing the winners of six consecutive races, an extremely difficult task. During certain holiday and seasonal periods, these rules may not apply or additional and/or different rules may apply. These special circumstances will be described via the “prize details” screen in the Game and/or via announcements on Sponsor’s B/R Betting social media channels.
