The NFL is the latest American sports league to sign an official betting deal. The league recently announced that three sportsbooks will be the official betting partners for the 2018 season. By joining the league’s official betting program, sportsbooks will get access to official data, promote their relationship with the league and tie their brands and products to statistics. If the deal is successful, the NFL will make nearly $1 billion in revenue over the course of five years. However, there is an option for the NFL to cancel the agreement after three years, so it’s important to understand the advantages of such partnerships before jumping into any betting partnership.

The NBA has also signed an agreement with Rush Street Interactive, and the company has become the official betting partner of the New Orleans Pelicans. The deal is only available in Louisiana and launched on Jan. 28. It also launched on mobile in Louisiana, where it saw an increase in betting activity over the NFL championship weekend. The company’s signage will be seen throughout the Smoothie King Center, as well as in the front row of courtside seats. The sportsbook also rebranded its Chairman’s Lounge, so that fans of the NBA can get a VIP experience while watching their favorite team compete in the big game.

The NFL also partnered with betting data company Sportradar to license their video and official data to sportsbooks around the world. The partnership with BetCity will help the league promote its brand, which will be visible during a game in Nijmegen at the end of May. The two organizations worked together through Sportradar, which is the FIH’s official betting data provider. During the FIH Hockey Pro League finals in Nijmegen, the BetCity logo will also be visible. The Netherlands has an elite hockey team and a successful partnership with BetCity will help them make their name more visible.
